ISO 9001 Certification Body Awards 20,000th Certification
QMS International PLC, a Norwich UK based ISO 9001 certification body and QMS Global Group (US headquartered) partner announced its 20,000th ISO certification in August 2012 with a presentation to Lexington Catering.
The 30,000th certification is the next target to aim for and the ISO 9001 certification body are now more focused than ever to achieve this goal. Peter Gamble, Managing Director of QMS UK commented “When I started at QMS I had a vision of where I wanted the business to be, but I never imagined reaching this milestone in the company’s history. I would like to thank the clients and staff who have made this possible.”
Issuing a variety of internationally recognized standards published by the International Organization for Standardization this was a major milestone for QMS. “QMS Global congratulates our colleagues and are delighted with this fantastic achievement” said Bruce Weber, CEO of the QMS Global Group and President of QMS Global, Inc. in a teleconference on September 27th.
ISO certifications are highly respected within a wide range of industries and over 1 million organizations now hold an ISO 9001 certification worldwide. Evidence of an ISO 9001 certification recognizes the quality of work to potential clients, customers and suppliers which can certainly increase the potential of large contracts and winning new business.
